Snow

We had snow here today! It has been a very long time since we have had enough snow to amount to anything. We actually had about three inches, it was so pretty. The kids built a snowman.

As you can see, under the snow I have a muddy nasty mess.

The yellow house is my mom and dads house. This is the the view from my yard.

Breath taking isn't it. After I watched the kids play in the snow for a bit

it was back to cleaning! When we moved into this house, we had all of our things, plus most of my mother-in-laws things. Since we moved into my grandmothers house, we had all of her furniture, clothes, trinkets, dishes you name it. The house is not small, a four bedroom, but with all these things and only two closets, all I can say is AHHH! The initial move in was a nightmare. We went through everything, and kept most, things stuffed everywhere because I did not know what to do with my grandparents belongings and my mother did not want me to get rid of to much. Some went in the small attic and most of the rest in the closet in my sons room (which is just a closet under the stairs, which also contained a salt purifier). Today I went through the closet under the stairs. I found some of our things in there and just threw them away. We have city water now, so we got rid of the purifier. My son now has room to put his things and is very happy. It was an all day job though and I am very glad it is finished. Next stop, under my bed. So in conclusion,

Good Afternoon Brandy,
Oh my goodness, you got Snow. We only got a cold rain the other night. The boys look to be having lots of fun playing in the Snow. Sure wish we could get some Snow. Oh well, I just guess it's not meant to be. Sounds like you have been busy as a bee there. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Hugs,
Karen H.

You are a saint! It sounds like you were very agreeable about keeping all that stuff. I'm glad you were able to get rid of some and make room for YOU! It was great hearing from you and you are welcome to my blog any old time!
Oh - your family looks wonderful. I bet those boys keep you busy!

Brandy, your news is awesome! Pack him a lunch for his first day and write him a note....on your underwear. Girl, sometimes we just have to out-hootchie the hootchies! Seriously though, I am really happy for you. We have to keep things strong for our kids, don't you agree? I'll visit again soon - Jennifer
