new puppies and new cell phones

So this post is about new puppies. They are so cute and cuddly. Draven got one, a pretty lil red bone to take hunting (courtesy of papaw Jay). The names lady. She is really pretty with her big long ears and all her wrinkles. But there is a catch with new puppies. They have small bladders and no matter how long they are outside they wanna pee or poo as soon as they come in. I can clean that up and keep working with her so that will be ok. She also makes a huge mess with her food. she can not eat it out of the bowl, she had to dump it all on the floor first, again its ok i can clean that too. However, this morning my brand new cell was dieing and went to plug it up. Oh but no, lady had chewed the end off of my charger. I had to hunt tools and duck tape just to fix my phone. New puppies and cell phones do not mix!

I feel for you! Our "puppy" will be two this month and boy, oh boy, what a whirl wind we have been through! The puppy stage is so hard, yet soooo much fun! We are glad to be on the other side, she listens really good now and isn't chewing up everything!

Hugs, Sharon

I'm so glad to hear from you!!!!

Lady sounds charming and very puppy-like. It will be an adventure getting her trained to have good Doggie manners. She sounds worth the trouble :)

Have a great week Brandy!

Brandy,

Yes, we have a puppy that is 11 months old now, but we did have a few things chewed to pieces. Two pair of shoes for me. He chewed the first pair and I bought replacements and within two days I forgot to put them out of reach and they were also chewed.

Dakota was an easy dog to housetrain. I took him out within 10 minutes of when he ate and he usually did his business. He too likes to put his food on the floor before he eats it. Odd how they have their own little bad habits.

Nice to stop by and visit you again. Drop by my Writing Nook when you can.

Blessings,
Mary
