Well howdy how are you all today? I am good sleepy, but good. I am not going to be coaching the cheer squad, but that is ok. There may be days that Daniel has to take Grayson and I can not make practice. My Kirk starts middle school this year. We had orientation last night. I think he will like it. Grayson is the only one in the primary school this year. I dread this year for Grayson really bad. One of his teachers name is Ms. Perry. I have known her for years and years, we used to stay the night with each other when we were little. She is a little bit younger than me. You would think that this would make me confident that all will be well with Grayson this year, but it don't. She is strict, can be hateful, and mean. We will go round I am afraid. Our primary school is very strict anyway, almost like a prison. It stinks, but maybe we will be ok! Has school started back where you are yet? It starts on the 15th here. I am dreadin it. I have to go now, got to get breakfast. I will talk to you all later though. Take care

Mommys quiet spot????
I think I need to change the title of my blog. Mommys quiet spot just does not fit my life anymore. I have no quiet spot, no quiet time on the computer, the only mommy time I get is when I go over to Hopes house. Summer has been crazy. We went to Washington Dc and then on to New Jersey around the fourth of July. The kids stayed in New Jersey for about two weeks after we left. My mother in law and sister in law brought them home and stayed for about a week with us. We had a nice visit. Last week Draven had band camp from 4-8 three nights, this week he is going 8-3 all week this week. School is getting ready to start back, but instead of things slowing down and getting back to normal, they are only getting more hectic and chaotic. YAHHHH cant wait. So anyway, we have Grayson playing little league football and Draven starting high school marching band, even though he is only in the seventh grade. Grayson will practice Tues and Thurs. Games on Sat. Draven will have to be present for all high school ball games which start on Aug. 22nd. So we will have ball on Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sat. Church is Wends and Sun. I have a total of one free day a week for the next 3 months or so. Also Daniel will be home this year for Grayson. He did not get to see him very much last season because he worked second shift and most of the games and things were at night. This is good because he can do with Grayson. I was a cheerleader in school and I always wanted a little girl. I did not get one though. I wanted to do pageants and coach cheer leading. Having all boys this is hard. Thank God he gave me a rent-a-girl, which is my sister salena.
She is 11 years old. This year I have signed up to coach her cheer squad. I will find out tonight if I get to or not.
I did get to do some fun stuff this summer though. I went with my sister, my brothers girl friend and my sister in law to a new store in Kingsport. We all got make overs and shopped until we dropped. LOL. Last night my brothers gf went shopping for her sister a wedding gift. I was exhausted by the time we got home!
I hope everyone is doing well and this post finds all happy and blessed!

update
Thank you all for your advice and I quit today. I know i need the money, but its actually just mad money Daniel does very well providing for us. We can make it on his income. I just have to plan on making it with his income. I actually sent her a text. I know what you are thinking, how mean and how gutless, but let me explain here. When I call her she does not answer either phone nor will she return my calls, this has been going on since I started keeping the kids. Tuesday when i was supposed to keep them, I got a text 20 mins before they were supposed to come saying that she would not be bringing them. Today I did not even get that. No call, no text. I told her in the text that I would not be able to keep her kids anymore because I needed to know when I work, because I depend on the income and also i need to be able to plan things with my family. So far, I have not heard a thing from her yet. Oh well. Daniel is cool with it, he does not blame me at all. If I wanted to be this stressed, I would go out into the work force and find a job outside the home. I then would also have the added stress of finding a sitter myself. So its back to pinching pennies. I want to thank you all again for all your support and advice. Love you guys!!

Hey guys
I hope everyone is doing great! I am good, school let out on Tuesday for the summer, so I am a little stressed out right now. Nothing to worry about though. I have just gotten used to my quiet time is all. I have started a new rule at my house. My kids fight over everything under the sun, so from now on, community service is in full force. They fight, they stop doing what ever fun thing they were doing and I make them clean. If they wake me up before 9 in the morning, unless it is a true emergency, then they have dish duty for the day. I am hoping that this will help to keep them in line. We will see.
I have been trying to find an online job that is legit, and does not cost an arm and a leg to start. Any suggestions?? I found one called four points mom that sounds really good, but I have not got a phone call from them yet. I am hoping that they call because I think that it would be a good one to get into.
It is supposed to be hot here all week. In the 80s, thank God the pool is up and running now. We have a pretty big one, its 4 1/2 feet deep and like 24ft around, i think. We switched over to chlorine free this year. I haven't been in yet this year, but the kids have and they liked it.
I need some advice today. You all know that I have been baby sitting, right? Well its getting frustrating. The kids are great, that is not it at all. Its just that I get paid $120 every two weeks and really count on this money. Well from the get go, the mom has waited until the last minute to let me know when I am supposed to keep the kids. That is the frustrating part. Then it gets worse. I was supposed to keep them this Tuesday, but that morning of course i call her because i haven't heard from here to make sure that I am still keeping them and she says well there dad may be off today i am not sure. I will call you back and let you know. I got a text 30 mins before she was supposed to keep them saying that she didn't need me that day. I am supposed to keep them tomorrow, but who knows. What should I do guys like I said I need this money but I also need to be able to plan what I can do with my own kids. If I don't keep them, then I don't get paid. Its just getting aggravating. She also has switched jobs and gets off at 8 in the evening now. She took for granted that those hours would be fine with me, but they are not so I have to take the kids to their grandmothers at 6 when I do keep them. I just want some outside advice. Would you keep them??
I got an award to from Lisa. I love it, she is such a sweet person! If you guys don't know Lisa yet, go by and check her out!!
Thank you Lisa!!!!!

Sexy red hills
Shoes, pause think about this, are shoes merely what we put on our feet, or are they more? Can shoes represent our mood, and where we have been? Well certainly if our shoes are muddy, then yes they do tell where we have been, we have been somewhere in the mud!! I really do think that they represent our mood quit frequently. If you are feeling fun and flirty, maybe a nice wedge would be the choice. Perhaps a pair like this.
Or maybe if you are having a lazy day, a cute pair of flip flops.
Of course neither of these would work if you are in the mood for outside activities. A more suitable choice would be tennis shoes.
Also a good pair of shoes can really make a woman feel very good about herself. My favorite way to make myself feel special and sexy is high heels!! High heels are my favorite kind of shoe. They make me feel pretty. They work great with dresses and jeans.
Now guys on the other hand can not appreciate shoes like a woman can. My husband thinks that I have way to many shoes, my motto is one can never have enough shoes! i have tons, but want more. My shoes make me feel happy, I know that sounds silly. I buy shoes when I am sad. It makes me feel better. And in the words of Cinderella, a good pair of shoes really can change a girl's life!

hello all
I am not doing anything much today just babysitting. I am so glad that I do not have to work outside the home right now. It is so stressful on the kids. The little boy that I keep does ok if his mom drops him off, but when his dad does, its really heart breaking. He hangs on for dear life, crying his little eyes out. It is really sad, and his poor ol daddy is tore all to pieces when he leaves. It usually only lasts about 20 mins or so, but it is still sad. I am feeling down in the dumps today. I think it is because of Draven still, I am just so worried about him. I am also really tired today, I stay that way a lot lately and I just want to sleep. One of Kirk's friends is coming home with him tonight. He is all excited about that. So how is the weather where you guys are? It is cold and rainy here. It has been that way all week long. Maybe that is another reason why I feel down in the dumps today. Who knows? I just know that I am sooo ready for some sun shine. It is supposed to be back up in the 80s by next Thursday. That we will be good because we are going to a fossil museum and dig some bones. Then Friday we are going to the pool for a private pool party that the school is having for the fourth grade! That should be fun!
Oh did you guys see the news today? New Kids on the Block have gotten back together. That's fine, except when I watched the show I was not impressed at all. Their singing is not what it used to be. Also they need a new name, those guys are older than me. New kids on the block???? Yeah they need a new name.
K enough rambling I will go visit for a while now and maybe look for a publisher for my children's book wish me luck!!

Prayers are needed
I would like for you all to please pray for Draven my oldest son! He is not doing well at all. He had a doctor's appointment yesterday and we got a bad report. All of what we discussed yesterday is treatable, but it is has got my little man down and feeling sad. First of all he is very over weight for his age. He also has a dark ring around his neck which is very bad. That means that his body is starting to become insulin resistant. His migraines are getting worse, so he had to be put on amytriptalin, which is an antidepressant that doubles as a pain blocker, which in turn should prevent the migraines if all goes well. He has to have an ekg done to see if there is any heart problems. His blood pressure was borderline high. Diabetes heart disease, and high blood pressure all run on both sides of the family. We have to have fasting blood work done on him to check his thyroid, cholesterol, and sugar levels. He is upset with all of this, but mostly it is his weight that is bothering him so bad. He does not eat a lot, he is outside a lot and we don't know what we need to do to get the weight off. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I just feel so sorry for him. Please say a little prayer for him when you pray tonight. He needs all he can get! Thank you.

hello
I hope everyone had a great mothers day!! I know I did. The festivities actually started on Friday here. I picked the kids up Friday from school and the two oldest wrote me letters for mothers day. Dravens was this,
My mother, always there for me
On my heart all the time
Tender hearted and loving
Here on Mothers day, your day
Even thought it is Kirks day too
Remembering to celebrate
So here's a coloring book for you
Dancing
Around
You on your day!
It was a coloring and Mothers day was also Kirks birthday!
Here is what Kirk wrote for me
My mom
Do you have someone who does good things for you? That person is my mom. She is Very funny. I love her very much. She has brown hair and brown eyes. My mom is sorta tall. My mom is skinny. Her face and smile make her pretty. My mom is funny, She tells funny jokes. She makes everyone laugh. She calls me a Dork Fish! My mom is the funniest mom ever! My mom and I watch TV together. We like to play board games. My mom and I like to swing together. We like to swim together too. That is my mom!
Happy Mothers Day
They both made me cry. Kirkland also got me a beautiful flower and Grayson got me a beautiful one as well.
After I got all my goodies we met Daniel. Draven and Daniel got contacts Friday night. I got new glasses, they told me contacts would not help. Saturday, we had a birthday party at five. It lasted until 10! What a party, we all had a blast. Kirk got lots of nice things. He got a new controller for his xbox 360. He got a tent, an ant farm, 2 shirts, 2 beach towels, 2 pair of swim trunks, 20 dollars, a stuffed dogie, 6 chicks and chicken feed. He probably got more, but that is all I can think of right now. Hope, he loves those lil chicks and feeds and waters them himself.
I also got a present Saturday. I got the most awesome purse from my mom and dad for mothers day. It is so cute. Tan, with pink trim, lime green polka dots on the trim, fuzzy stuff around the top. Its so pretty and the best part is the verse on the front. It says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
We went to church Sunday morning and we had a really good service. The kids also got things from church to give to me. I got more flowers and some jewelry. After church we went to my mamaws and then to my friend Lisa's house. It was nice.
OHHH my husband fixed my breakfast yesterday, I didn't have to do it!! He made Sausage balls and then last night he made me chili! I didn't have to lift a finger all day!!
I hope your day was as great as mine!!

Here goes nothing.
I am going to try to do another post about our vacation. We took the kids to an inside amusement park for the mind (no joke that's what it says in the brochure). It is called Wonder Works. I decided to do a slide show because blogger made me mad. We got to experience a hurricane with 70mph winds. We also experienced an earth quake. We drove spaceships and drag cars. The kids created a roller coaster. Grayson did ours I was a little sick after we rode it. Twists turns and flips. The bike thing in the pictures below was an extreme 360 Draven and I rode it. I was bruised, but we made it around several times, it was peddle power by the way. I climbed the rock wall with the kids. Huge accomplishment for me even though I didn't even make it half way, I am terrified of heights. When I was coming down though, I fell. My shoe flew off and went across the room. I was embarrassed. The last picture is Paris Hilton, I dont really like her, but the pic is cool. It is made out of bubble gum and its done on plywood. I will go for now, I hope you all enjoy the slide show.

I am a Grandmaw!!!!
No its not what you are thinking, none of my boys had a baby (thank God, they are much to young for that!) My kitty had five little kittens tonight! They are so pretty. I have two black and white ones, one smokey one and two grey and white ones. Kitty is black and white. One of them looks just like her. They are so cute. Kitty will let us near them, but not the other animals. She and fat cat got into a big fight. I may have to get rid of fat cat, I am not sure yet, they have never clicked though. Well I just wanted to let everyone know! Oh by the way, she had them in my wardrobe. With all my clothes. I have a lot of laundry to do. Take care all!

Howdy all
Where to start, hmm lets see, I have started baby sitting now. I keep a two year old all day and a 6 yr old after school, three or four days a week. I dont know if you all knew or not that the house that we live in was my grandparents, my grandfather built it. It belonged to mom and dad. We have talked them into letting us pay the payments and we are now buying the house. I am so excited!! Our rooms are coming along great! We now have two rooms fully equipped right now with insulation and partially sheet rocked. One room will be a walkin closet, the other will be my laundry room. We can't wait until they are done!
I believe that I promised you guys some pictures from our trip. The first thing that I want to show you is our cabins. Yes it is plural. We started out in one called wooded haven. It was a lovely little cabin.
It was a two bedroom with a sleeper sofa. My husband, myself, our three kids, and my mother-in-law and sister-in-law all went.
(This was mine and my husband's room.)
(This one is my mother in laws.)
It was a little cramped but doable. We only stayed there one night and that was because when we went out for supper, and came back, my mother in law got stuck in the drive way and had to walk the rest of the way up. She has a bad hip and a bad back.
(Grayson enjoying the pretty weather)
(Kirk and Draven enjoying the view)
(my sister in law in the garden)
When she caught her breathe from the long walk, she called the office and we were told to come to the office in the morning for another cabin. The second one we got was immaculate. Three stories, three bedrooms, an extra bed out in the loft, two sleeper sofas, a game room, and a hot tub!! It was gorgeous!
That is the outside, I guess we will start with the main floor of the cabin.
This is my mother in laws room
Now we will go down stairs.
This is the game room down there.
Here is the bedroom down there.
Now I want to take you up to the loft.
This was our room and our bathroom. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi, notice the window, as I was taking my long baths, eagles would fly by our window.
This is Daniel and Draven outside on the bottom level
I also want to show you a funny picture of me. I had ate shrimp the night before and I am allergic. I am very swollen, but I can't help it I just love the stuff and I waited to long to get the allergy meds in me.
That is all I am going to post today. I will post more about our vacation later on!

I am so upset!
I am so upset today. I have been following the children in Georgia. Let me copy and past the article here, just in case you haven't read about it.
WAYCROSS, Ga. (April 1) - A group of third-graders plotted to attack their teacher, bringing a broken steak knife, handcuffs, duct tape and other items for the job and assigning children tasks including covering the windows and cleaning up afterward, police said Tuesday.
Waycross Georgia Police Department / AP
A photo shows some of the materials that police in Waycross, Ga., confiscated from a group of third-graders who allegedly were plotting to attack their teacher.
The plot involving as many as nine boys and girls at Center Elementary School in south Georgia was a serious threat, Waycross Police Chief Tony Tanner said.
School officials alerted police Friday after a pupil tipped off a teacher that a girl had brought a weapon to school. Tanner said the students apparently planned to knock the teacher unconscious with a crystal paperweight, bind her with the handcuffs and tape and then stab her with the knife.
"We did not hear anybody say they intended to kill her, but could they have accidentally killed her? Absolutely," Tanner said. "We feel like if they weren't interrupted, there would have been an attempt. Would they have been successful? We don't know."
The children, ages 8 to 10, were apparently mad at the teacher because she had scolded one of them for standing on a chair, Tanner said.
Two of the students were arrested on juvenile charges Tuesday and a third arrest was expected. District Attorney Rick Currie said other students told investigators they didn't take the plot seriously or insisted they had decided not to participate.
"Some of the kids said, `We thought they were just kidding,"' Currie said. "Another child was supposed to bring a toy pistol, and he told a detective he didn't bring it because he thought he would get in trouble."
Currie said the children are too young to be charged as adults, and probably too young to be sentenced to a youth detention center.
Police seized a steak knife with a broken handle, steel handcuffs, duct tape, electrical and transparent tape, ribbons and the paperweight from the students, Tanner said.
Currie said he decided to seek juvenile charges against two girls, ages 9 and 10, who brought the knife and paperweight and an 8-year-old boy who brought tape. He said all three students faced charges of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, and both girls were being charged with bringing weapons to school.
Nine children have been given discipline up to and including long-term suspension, said Theresa Martin, spokeswoman for the Ware County school system. She would not be more specific but said none of the children had been back to school since the case came to light.
The purported target is a veteran educator who teaches third-grade students with learning disabilities, including attention deficit disorder, delayed development and hyperactivity, friends and parents said.
The scheme involved a division of roles, Tanner said. One child's job was to cover windows so no one could see outside, he said. Another was supposed to clean up after the attack.
"We're not sure at this point in the investigation how many of the students actually knew the intent was to hurt the teacher," Tanner said.
He said the teacher told detectives the children involved weren't known as troublemakers.
"You can't dismiss it," Tanner said. "But because they are kids, they may have thought this was like a cartoon - we do whatever and then she stands up and she's OK. That's a hard call."
The parents of the students have cooperated with investigators, who aren't allowed to question the children without their parents' or guardians' consent, he said. Authorities have withheld the children's names.
Martin told The Florida Times-Union of Jacksonville, Fla., that administrators would follow school system policy and state law in disciplining the students.
"From what I understand, they were considered pretty good kids," Martin said. "But we have to take this seriously, whether they were serious or not about carrying this through, and that's what we did."
Four mothers of other third-grade students at Center Elementary called for the immediate expulsion of the suspected plotters.
Stacy Carter and Deana Hiott both cited school system policy stating that any student who brings "anything reasonably considered to be a weapon" is to be expelled for at least the remainder of the school year.
"We don't want our children around them," Carter told the Times-Union. "The one with the knife could have stabbed my child or someone else's child at lunch or out on the playground."
Not only are these kids going to get by with little or no punishment from the school and law, it is going to teach other kids that hey they can do it and not get in trouble, we can to.
Secondly did you notice that they were trying to blame this on cartoons? The news is trying to blame it on video games and movies. This burns me up. You know the reason that they do these things??? LACK OF GOD. Lack of morals. If these kids had morals and God in their lives, these things would not happen. America made the greatest mistake when they took God from the schools. This nation has been in a downward spiral ever since. I think that if one woman can get God out, why cant a huge group of Christians get him back in??????????
My kids know right from wrong and have morals. Sure they do wrong, that's not what I am saying, we all do wrong, but we know it is wrong. We know these things because we were TAUGHT these things by our parents and teachers. What has happened? This is getting ridiculous!!!
I also want to applaud some schools because they do allow prayer meetings in them, even if it is five minutes in the morning one day a week and free will to go to them. If only more schools would do this. Also some teachers should be applauded because they still speak of God, even though they could lose their jobs for doing so! We all need to be a little bit more like these people! There are great things to be learned in this life and we can teach one another, it just takes some effort and support. We all need to put forth the effort.
I also want to thank some one today. Hope this is for you! You have been a rock in my life lately, you have been there for me when I have been faced with tough challenges with the kids. You have taught me so many things in the last few weeks. I know that you are in my life because of Daniel, but you know I don't talk to a lot of his family, I don't know them that well. I am glad that you are in my life and I have a great friend to talk to about important things and I want you to know that I really look up to! I know that God has put you here for a reason and I thank him for doing that to! So this is for you. I am calling it the rock award LOL!
This is an award I received from Charlotte! Thank you so much! I love it.
I want to pass it on to Mary at Mary's writing nook, Lady Di, at Kitty justice, hope at second time around, Jennifer at Dust Bunny hostage and Karen!
Well I will go for now. Have a good day!

HAPPY ST PATRICKS DAY
glitter-graphics.com
Woohoo watch out for those tricky little leprechauns. They like to play tricks and are lightening fast! If by some chance you do catch one, make sure not to turn your back on him or he will take back his pot of gold and then guess what... if you are like me, you are broke again.

I have some exciting news today! I won the tee shirt contest that Denise over sew the world was having. She has a picture of it on there, It is awesome. Please go check it out. But if you do click here because she has listed all the available colors and the price for the shirt. It is really a good deal and its related to blogger.

I had a really good weekend. Nothing special, but good all the same. I think I told you all that my kids are playing basket ball didn't I? Well anyway they are. They were put on three different teams. That's cool to though because they play one another as it is an in house sport. Well this year that changed. They have two gyms there now. So they split the little ones and the big ones. I have to try to be in two places at one time now. Not to easy mind you. Here are some pics of them.
An action shot of Grayson.
This one is just to cute. He acts so frustrated.
Kirkland is the one running and my sister Salena is the red head in the back ground who is cheering not practicing like she is supposed to be.
This one is not so good, but my little man is circled. He is behind the other little boy. That's my oldest, Draven.
Well my friends i hope you have a great day and now i have to go start my day. I have non stop running to do today so lucky me!! Take care!

Looking forward to today?
Not so much really. I kinda dread it. I have to clean all day. Oh boy you all know that I just cant wait to get started. I hate cleaning. Its not really that bad, but ugg. Oh well its not going to do it its self. I have a couple of things to say this morning. I think God for my hubby. I love him so much. I got a text from him this morning and he called me sexy. Now this is the man who sees me at my worst all the time and he still thinks I'm sexy!! I am so glad LOVE IS BLIND!! LOL. He is my rock. I can count on him for anything, even making me feel good about myself. He works hard, he comes straight home from work, he doesn't do anything with out me. Of this I am thankful. I know women who wonder where and what their man is doing. I don't have to worry about it! Its only one week until our vacation and I am so excited. We are going to Gatlingburg and have some exciting things planned. I can not wait. Also a week from Sunday will be our anniversary. It falls on Easter this year. That was a shock to us both. It seems so strange. It will be 13 years. I have put him through alot and he has stayed right by my side through it all. I love him more than life.

I also wanted to let you all know that I checked my email this morning and there is an update on Erin's page. Her dad could not sleep last night because he felt that he had to get this wrote down about her. This is what he had to say. I copied and pasted it here. It is incredible how God worked through this little girl!!
"I heard some great news last night from Brian. There were 47 people saved and 43 rededications at the meeting held in Erin's honor at the Crossroads Youth at Higher Ground! To God be the Glory! I know Erin is so happy in Heaven this morning! To hear things like this lifts me from the valley of despair and sets me high on a mountain of Joy! I am so proud to say that I am Erin's dad! I have been blessed just to be able to call her daughter! Erin, I love you so much Honey! Jesus, thank you!! I Know God is still using Erin's sickness to touch people in this city and around the country! Please continue to pray for our family. I have been dreading the next few days knowing from the past experience of losing my Dad in 1992. I want this Friday to not be a sad funeral, instead I want it to be a celebration of Erin's Life! I had no idea of the impact that skinny little girl of mine could have on her friends and this community. I pray that God get's all the Glory! I hope everyone didn't think that Tuesday nights update would be the last. I'll continue to post to this site as long as the Lord lays it on my heart to do so! I am sure Kimberly and Brian feel the same. I couldn't sleep again this morning and I woke up with all these words going through my head. I want to again thank everyone for their Prayers and comments they leave here. It's like an ointment for my aching heart to read your lovely words of condolence. Thanks everyone! Thank you Lord!

I was tagged by Hope for a meme. I will play along. Here are the rules. In the 8 facts about yourself, you share 8 things that your readers don’t know about you. Then at the end you tag at least 8 other bloggers to keep the fun going.
So here goes.
1. When I was three years old I was bit by a dog and it almost killed me.
2. I HATE for my food to touch on the plate. I don't want to eat it if it does.
3. I love to paint. ANYTHING. walls pictures, i don't care.
4. I did a wall mural for McDonald's in Big Stone Gap.
5. I cry when I am super tired. lol. I am a weenie.
6. Somedays I wish I were a man. Nothing disgusting here. Just because they clock out at four thirty and their day is done. I also never hear my kids scream DAD. its always mom.
7. If I could choose any occupation in the world, it would be CSI. I don't like working with a lot of people because they get on my nerves. I don't want to be in the medical field because I don't want to hurt people. This way I could give closure to greiving families.
8. I went to a Pittsburgh Steeler's game and would go again!! It was incredible!
Now for my eight. Oh boy I know most of my people are on Hopes page so lets see if I can find some people to tag.
Sarah, Charolette, Lady Di, Denise, Mel, Draven, you guys are it!! Woohoo have fun. I have to think of two more I know who I want, I just cant find their site right now lol.

band and fun monday
This is my son draven at his band concert, it was incredible when you watch the video keep in mind that he is only in the sixth grade. This group is made up of 6th 7th and 8th graders. I was impressed. He is the one with the blue trumpet, last row, fifth one from the end on your right. Hope you enjoy it!!
I went by Jennifer's page at Dust Bunny Hostage and found this. I decided I was going to play along to! Here are the rules. Give me 5!!
I need YOU (yes, the wonderful YOU!) to pick 5 memorable lines from 5 different movies (if you could tell us which character said it and to whom, would be a bonus)...and tell us to WHOM (who in the people in your life) you could have said those lines. So here goes!!!!
1. "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming swimming." Dorie from Finding Nemo. She sings this to Marlin the clown fish. I sing this to my kids when they are frusterated with something and want to quit or when they stop to look at something at the store!
2. "Why do they call it Ratatoui? It sounds like Rat and Patootti, Rat patooti." The skinny chef from Ratatoui to the head chef. I can't remember their names. I say this to everyone when I am discribing my ratatoui i made for the kids. It tasted like rat patooti trust me!! BLUCK.
;)
3. "Ms Scarlet, Ms Scarlet, I don't know nothin bout birthin no babies!" Gone with the Wind. I say this when someone tells me to do something and I am just like HUH?
4. "Its priest, try the priest." Sweeny Todd said to Mr. Todd by Helena Bonham Carters character, again, I can't remember the characters name. This I also say to my kids but I say this when they ask what is for dinner. HEHE I am so mean. LOL You need to see this movie. Ahhhh Mr. Depp.
5. "Why is the rum always gone?" Jack Sparrow, Pirates of the Carribian. I say this anytime something is not here when I need it! Again Mr. Depp AHHHH can you tell I like him? Feel free to click over to Jennifers page and play along.

My Nothing post
This post us about absolutley nothing. Nothing is going on. Nothing's new. Noone is sick THANK GOD!!! I just wanted to post to let everyone know about nothing in particular really. I have had a pretty good day. Nothing new really. I did dishes, did the laundry, or should i say doing. Draven made sausage bisquits for breakfast. It did not fill anyone up so I just made some scrambled eggs with ham and cheese. Kirks friend is here and dan is calling lol i was gonna write working when the phone rang. He must have ESP LOL. Speaking of ESP, that reminds me of paranormal. Does anyone ever watch ghost hunters? thats one of the only shows i like to watch. It scares the poo out of me, but I love it. I think its fun to try to figure out what causes sounds and noises that people think shouldn't be there. Well guess its back to laundry and i need to vacuum, so i think i am going to go! I also need to do my homework, blah, just cant seem to get into it, but oh well, its gotta be done. Hope all is well. Talk to you guys later!

Such a sad ending
My oldest son Draven went into his bed room tonight and saw a mouse. The other boys ran into the room and they were all screaming. My middle child, who is very sensitive and wants to be a vet, tried to catch it. He chased it out from under the bed because the cat was trying to get it. I was sitting in the living room in the chair watching them when the mouse ran between my youngest little boys legs through the dining room and into the kitchen. It was huge!! I thought I was going to die when I saw it. My husband and I went into the kitchen. When I got in there, one of the boys said its a chipmonk. Well, it was not a chip monk, but it was a flying squirrel. We tried to catch him and he ran behind the fridge.
I held a bucket and my huband tried to run him out with a broom. He ran out all right, but not into the bucket. Now the kids are hoopin and hollaring. It was so exciting. He ran right past me, through my little boys legs again and started jumping all over my husband who was laying in the floor beside the fridge. He ran back into my little boys room and jumped up onto his sword that he has. I snapped a pic and my hubby tried to catch him.
It didnt work. This time he ran into the living room. My little weenie dog had been watching the whole time.
He was all nervous and scared. He thought the little guy was trying to hurt us. He grabbed it, it got away from him and ran across the room. That is when the poor guy met his untimely end. The dog must have crushed him, because he appeared unharmed.
The kids were devistated. They had immediately fallen in love with it. My hubby tried to revive it, rubbing his tummy and blowing in his face. I just sat and watched it all, my heart breaking for the poor little squirrel and for my baby boys.
I cried. I know it is only an animal, but it was just so sad. Please listen to this I let my kids listen to it last night and it did help them understand. Funny thing is, I recieved it in an email just yesterday. Isn't God's timing simply amazing? I think I got that for this purpose.
We called my dad and he gave me the name of a taxidermy place. Now I am not one for dead animals being around, i think it is quite morbid, but, in this case I can make an exception. The man told us what we need to do to preserve it and that it would last about 6 months in the freezer, we aren't going to wait that long, but we are going to have to wait a few weeks to get it done. I am going to take it to my dads house and they will keep it there in the deep freeze because I can't bare to look at it all the time when I open mine. The kids are happy about keeping it around so to speak, but my seven year old told me we need to say a prayer for it. I explained that it was already to late for that, and that it was all ok now.

PIMP
I have been very busy building on to the house. We are building a laundry room. So far we have one wall up and one cut and ready to be nailed. In case you are wondering what I am talking about in the subject line, it would appear that my son is a regular P~I~M~P.
I can only imagine what you all are thinking right now. The really bad thing is, he is only seven. It all started back at valentines day when this little girl Elizabeth gave him a ribbon that said 'someone loves you'. As if this is not bad enough, he gave her his phone number. She calls ALOT!! When she calls, they talk for an hour at a time. I listen in on the phone calls. They are pretty funny. Last night, I overheard him say that he might marry her when he grows up. There is another little girl that likes him as well. Her name is Brisha. She calls as well. I checked my voice mail today and she had called. She said 'Grayson call me, you remember what we talked about at school. I love you.' Trust me my jaw hit the floor. Well my husband asked him tonight about telling Elizabeth that he might marry her. He wanted to know if he asked her to. He said he did, but she said she was going to marry someone else. She called again tonight, which suprised me, since she said that. They did not get to talk long because it was late when she called. He giggled as he hung up and asked him what he was talking about and he said that she told him that Brisha sent him kisses. I said Grayson who is your girlfriend? Elizabeth or Brisha? He looks at me and calmly replies "BOTH". I am so glad that he is not older. I think he still has a lot to learn about women, although he seems to be doing pretty good for now!

80's child.
This is kind of my tribute to my childhood and the 80's. Oh yes, I was an 80s child. When I was growing up, cartoons were only on on Saterday mornings, and they were early. If you didn't get up, you didn't watch them. Here are some of my favorite cartoons as a child in no certain order.
The Snorks
TaleSpin
She-ra
Rainbow Bright
Jem
Gummi Bears
Duck Tales
Care Bears
My movies
The Neverending Story
Children of the Corn ~ scared the crap out of me!!
The Lost Boys ~ ahh Corey Haim ~ I thought he was so cute!
Beetlejuice
A Christmas Story
Dirty Dancing ~ I was never allowed to watch this one, but it just seemed like it would be sooo cool!
Then there was the eighties music. I wasn't that into Micheal Jackson, but I do remember when he looked like this!
I was one of those little girls who swooned over New Kids on the Block! I had their videos, posters, tapes. Yep cassette tapes, cds werent all that in back then. I am not sure if they were even invented then... hmmm, maybe I should google that one! Well I did and they were. I guess I just didn't have one.
Then came my mom's nightmare...the hair bands. Oh how I loved the eighties hair bands and being around ten and eleven at the end of the erra, I started noticing those hair band hotties! LOL. Down came the New Kids on the Block and up went the hairbands. I am sure my mom cringed everytime she came in my room.
Poisen
Guns and Roses
Bon Jovi
Oh and who could forget the fashion!! The neon clothes the huge hair. slap bracelets, you could actually wear the little plastic bracelets with out them meaning anything like they do now (which really makes me mad, by the way).
The huge ear rings and biker shorts. And can you believe this stuff is actually coming back in style?
The hot clothes ~ notice the sexy socks with those high heels, well guess I should say leg warmers.
Oh and the out fit that I wanted so bad!! I didn't get it of course, but I wanted it.
We, like kids now, had our own slang. We said things like far out, totally, not, psych, no way dude, and the whole valley girl talk where like every other like word was like like. And Oh my Gaaaawd. Thinking back it was probally one of the silliest erras in history. I so wish had been born in the sixties and seventies, but nope I got stuck in those 80s. I guess it was fun. I would like to challenge you all to play along and do a tribute to your childhood and erra. If you do, please let me know! It would be like totally far out dude!
